WaterSound means “all paths lead to the sea”. This is a luxurious, gated community with fabulous amenities. WaterSound comprises three communities: Watersound Beach, WaterSound Peninsula, WaterSound Bridges, and Watersound West Beach. These communities unite the natural beauty of the beach and dunes with the modern amenities and conveniences of a planned community. The unique feature of these communities is connectivity. You can ride bikes throughout the communities and never get on 30A. In the early 1900s, much of what is now WaterSound was a wooded reserve owned by the St. Joe Paper Company. It remained this way until the early 2000’s when the St. Joe Company transformed this amazing landscape into a one-of-a-kind community. The architecture was inspired by the fishing villages on Florida's coast; many homes are painted in pastel colors and have large porches with white columns. It is a style that creates a friendly, inviting ambiance. The WaterSound real estate market offers a unique experience, found only in Florida.

The Big Chill 30A, formerly The Hub on 30A, is surrounded by WaterSound and is the most family-friendly destination on the coast. This is a rare find that offers a huge backyard feel with shopping, dining and entertainment daily. The kids run free, the drinks stay cold…and we chill!
Watersound is home to one of Florida's rare Coastal Dune Lakes and has several public beach access points for swimming, fishing, and surfing. You will find beautiful trails around these lakes perfect for viewing wildlife, bird watching, and photography.

You'll find an abundance of outdoor recreation and entertainment options, including golfing, boating, and fishing. If you're looking for a place to work on your golf game, Watersound Club has two challenging courses — Shark's Tooth and Camp Creek. For tennis fans, Watersound has a tennis club with four Har-Tru clay courts and lessons for players of all skill levels. Pickleball is also available! WaterSound Club is a private, Members-only Club.
